Planning a group or school outing to The Distillery Winter Village?

Please review the information on this page, and then complete the short registration form below. This courtesy registration lets our team know your plans and helps our gate staff prepare for your arrival.

1. When to Visit

The Distillery Winter Village offers free admission daily before 4:00 pm, subject to site capacity limits. Arriving early ensures groups have enough time to enjoy free entry. 

Please note:

  • During peak periods, your group may be asked to wait before entering, depending on site capacity. Registered groups do not receive front-of-the-line access.
  • We do not offer guided tours for school groups.
  • During ticketed times, there are no group ticket rates or discounts.
  • If you wish to purchase tickets for groups of 20 or more, please contact wintervillage@thedistillerydistrict.com
  • Please see our daily schedule to help plan the day and time of your visit and to see when Santa and his elves are on site. The site opens at 10:00 

2. What to Expect

The Distillery Winter Village is Toronto’s world-famous Christmas market. It takes place in The Distillery Historic District and features the most iconic Christmas Tree in Canada. It has cobblestone streets glowing with thousands of holiday lights, Santa and his elves, carollers filling the laneways with music, endless holiday photo ops, artisan vendors, seasonal food and drinks, and festive entertainment at every turn. Once you arrive on the day of your visit, be sure to drop by our Info Booth located inside the north gate entrance at 55 Mill Street, and grab a map to help navigate the site and attractions.

3. Dress for the Weather

The Distillery Winter Village includes many outdoor areas and is open rain or shine, sleet or snow. Please check the weather forecast ahead of time to ensure you dress accordingly.

4. Bus Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Buses may drop-off and pick-up on Trinity Street, just south of Front St. E. This area is for loading/unloading only. No bus parking is available onsite.

After drop-off, buses must relocate to designated parking areas nearby.

4. Payments & Purchases

Seasonal vendor cabins: cash is NOT accepted, debit and credit only.

Year-round shops and restaurants: cash, debit, and credit are accepted. (See the The Distillery Historic District website for a full directory).
