The Distillery Winter Village runs Thursday, November 13, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026. It is closed Christmas Day. Shops, restaurants, cabins, and programming follow a daily schedule available on the Daily Schedule page.

It has cobblestone streets glowing with thousands of holiday lights, Santa and his elves, carollers filling the laneways with music, endless holiday photo ops, artisan vendors, seasonal food and drinks, and festive entertainment at every turn.

Yes, tickets are required daily starting at 4 p.m. from December 11 to December 31, 2025.

If you wish to enjoy free admission, please plan to arrive early as demand is high and line-ups will likely form. Tickets start at $15.00 + HST and service fee. Ticket types include General Admission ($15.00 + $1.50 service fee + $2.15 HST = $18.65 total), a Combo Ticket with Illuminarium ($30.00 + $3.00 service fee + $4.29 HST = $37.29), Flex Ticket ($18.00 + $1.80 service fee + $2.57 HST = $22.37 total) and Express Entry Ticket ($30.00 + $3.00 service fee + $4.29 HST = $37.29 total). All tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable. You can give your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Just forward the email or text you received with your ticket.

Kids aged 9 and under are always free to enter, and do not require a ticket.


Yes, you can enter for free daily before 4 p.m. After that, tickets are required. When you purchase a ticket, you are able to choose a time slot in which to enter the site. Time slots are in place for safety and comfort. They help manage crowds so guests can have a more enjoyable experience.

Due to firecodes and site capacity, the free entry lines must be managed to ensure entry for ticket holders arriving at 4 p.m. You can find live updates on line-ups at all of our four gates on our website - scroll down on the homepage to find it.

Remember, even if you have a ticket, you may still have to wait in line. If you purchase an Express Entry ticket, show your ticket to the gate staff and you can enter without waiting in line.

You can show your ticket on your phone - no need to print. When you purchase your ticket, you have the option to save it to your Apple or Google Wallet. Just make sure the QR code is visible at the gate. But if you prefer to print, that is up to you.

If you attend during a ticketed time, you will need a ticket to enter to access The Distillery District’s retailers, restaurants, galleries or theatres. If you make a dinner reservation at one of our restaurants or have a ticket to a performance at one of the theatres, you do not require a Distillery Winter Village ticket, but you must show security proof of your reservation/performance (if you have this on your phone, that will suffice).

Yes. This year, Santa’s Village is inside Soulpepper Theatre, with a magical new look inspired by Bad Hats' Narnia — an adaptation of C.S. Lewis' beloved classic. Visitors enter through a wardrobe into an evergreen winter wonderland to meet Santa, his Elves, and indulge in the café with hot chocolate and pastries. Santa’s daily schedule is posted here. Santa returns to the north pole for Christmas so his last day at the market is December 23.

This year, we have performances by beloved Canadian institutions like The Tenors, the Canadian Opera Company, Mirvish Productions, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, and the Myriad Ensemble.

For children, everyday at 1:00 p.m they can enjoy Storytime with the Elves, right in front of the Christmas Tree.

And children’s popular entertainer and YouTube star, Caitie & Tobee, are putting on a musical holiday spectacular from the world-renowned Super Simple Songs: November 17-20, 3:00 p.m., December 10-12, 3:00 p.m. and December 15-17, 3:00 p.m. Plus, you can meet Caitie & Tobee December 17 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Plus, Crane Creations Theatre Company is here every Sunday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Holiday puppets, Bunny, Squirrel and Crane will spread cheer and spark imagination in kids of all ages.

The Distillery District is located at Mill Street and Parliament in Toronto (55 Mill Street is the main entrance). Take the TTC King streetcar or GO Transit via Union Station. Profits from Opening Night ticket sales benefited our five charitable partners: The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund, The Anishnawbe Health Foundation, Soulpepper Theatre, Habitat for Humanity GTA, and Crow’s Theatre. A total of $56,000 was donated to our charitable partners on Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Each of these organizations plays a vital role in strengthening our city — supporting families, expanding access to care, fostering creativity, and helping build a more connected Toronto.

At season’s end, the Christmas tree will be donated to Habitat for Humanity GTA to provide mulch and reclaimed wood for 60 homes being built in 2026.
